The 2nd Year Parent-Teacher-Student Meeting will take place on Tuesday, 14th January 2025 from 4.15pm to 6.45pm in the Main School. Second Year Students should attend with their Parents/Guardians to discuss their progress.

The First Year Parent-Teacher-Student Meeting will take place on Thursday, 12th December 2024 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm in the Main School. First Year Students should attend with their Parents/Guardians to discuss their progress.

ALPS Representatives John Foley (Managing Director) and Noreen Dineen (HR / H&S Manager) visited our school on Friday to witness the manufacturing facilities in our Engineering Department. ALPS recently sponsored our schools new Transition Year initiative ‘Ideas Made Real’ Which is being run by Irish Manufacturing Research based in Mullingar.

Yesterday Transition Year students participated in the Think Languages Event (rescheduled from the 21st November). A Champion Team led by seven Transition Year Students, Meabh, Connor, Ryan, Luke, Frankie, Joy and Sara organised a range of activities for the day.

Christmas Time is coming here in M.C.S and this week our students and staff are eager to find ways to kick our festive season activities.

Our T.Y. Engineers of the future were treated to a fantastic experience on Thursday when Michelle Lambert from FIT (Fast-track Information Technology) joined us for a workshop as part of our new Ideas Made Real Module.

The 5th Year Parent-Teacher-Student Meeting will take place on Thursday, 28th November 2024 from 4.15pm to 6.45pm in the Main School (not the Sports Hall).

Our annual Fancy Dress Frightfest takes place on Friday! This year we are fundraising for Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.

Congratulations to our School Support Dog, Kaci, who celebrated her graduation on Saturday! Kaci was fully trained as a School Support Dog by Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) and has added such a huge amount to our school since her arrival in April.
