Knitting Tales in Millstreet Library
The Millinery group from Transition year met their counterparts from the ‘Knit and Natter’ group based in Millstreet library on Tuesday, May 14th. The students had made three crochet blankets which will be given to St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Millstreet. The girls learned how to crochet in March, and all deemed it a great skill to have. They have their own ‘Knit and Natter’ equivalent in school on Mondays and between learning how to do basic millinery and crochet, knit and do flower arranging, they have been kept busy throughout the year.
