"Feeding Our Future" Angus Beef Competition

TY students are now at stage two of the Irish Angus Schools’ Competition, and travelled to Limerick for interviews with judges on their project. Maeve Crowley, Rebecca Moynihan, Conor Lehane, Michael Thornton and Robbie O’Sullivan have been working with primary schools and classes in MCS, eduacting all on the health, nutrition and sustainability benefits on Angus beef. This included a cooking demonstration in the Home Economics room. All are hoping to get to Croke Park for stage 3. Best of luck to the group and teacher, Mr Lyons.
